Here are the through-shaft pilot-mount heavy duty clutches made by MACH III and available to read about and purchase online from Marshward Ltd.
The friction type heavy-duty clutch engages with air pressure and is spring-released when the air is exhausted. The torque is linear in response to when air pressure is applied.
The heavy-duty clutch is designed for horizontal mounting. It slides on the shaft and is fixed with set screws and a key. An anti-rotation arm is needed to prevent the rotation of the air-housing. If a vertical mounting is needed, please speak to your engineer for the options.
MACH III's heavy duty clutches are suitable for connect/disconnect and cycling applications.
Because the maximum RPM varies by each MACH III model, please consult the Download Brochure below. And so if your application exceeds the listed maximum RPM, please consult your engineer.
The MACH III heavy duty clutches are bored to suit up to the maximum shown in the brochure (US and Metric) for easy installation. Its splined drive and toothed friction discs enable the heavy duty service.
As mentioned above, please click the MACH III brochure below to read the technical details of their through-shaft pilot-mount heavy duty clutches.
