The Airflex CM element assemblies are designed for use on diesel driven reverse-reduction gears in the marine industry. A typical use in an application is for marine propulsion.

It will offer you all of the element features of the CB clutch element from Airflex, while the ventilated friction shoes of the CM allows clutch slippage at low energy rates during vessel maneuvering.

The CM also offers cycling engagements at high energy rates and the rim registering permits triple element assemblies.

Features of the CM from Eaton Airflex includes:

• Its torque capacities reach up to: 3,236,000 Ib·in, 365.000 N·m.
• The standard design sizes are: 26CM475, 30CM500, 35CM500, 40CM550, 48CM650
